Want to start your influencing journey but short on cash? Look no further as I walk you through some tips on becoming the baddiest broke influencer out!

1. Pick Your Platform

Whether it be Youtube, a blog page, or Instagram find your home and stick to it. Most social media sites are free to sign up and use, including tools that help with analytics and insights that will help you promote and strategically move your platform forward. You can't start driving if you don't have a car...so pick a site and start building your empire.
2. Go In With A Plan

While yes you may want to jump in head first and gain millions of followers, you can't do that without a plan. What are you going to be posting? What times are you going to post? How are you going to create your content? If you have all the answers to these questions, then you don't need to worry. However, if you don't its time to invest in a planner. Going in with a plan alleviates the stress of what you're going to post that day. So take some time grab a planner and sit down and plan your posts for the week/month
#BaddieTip: Don't spend too much on a planner either. You can use the Google Calendar app that comes on most iPhones and Androids, however I'm a write it out type of girl. You can shop cheap and cute planners here for under $10!
3. Stay True to Yourself and Your Wallet

Yes, this sounds super cliche and corny but its true. You have to stay true to yourself and your brand when starting on your influencing journey. If you know you can't afford to spend $129 on that new Natasha Denona palette, don't spend it. Also, if you know you can't post 5 times a week, don't do it. You have to make sure to prioritize yourself first and make sure that your health and wellbeing is number one. Take a break from the computer sis, it'll be there.
4. Finesse!

Find cost effective ways to buy the products that you love. Use free apps like Influenster and Honey to buy your favorite products for the low. There are a number of ways for you to get around spending your entire bank account for one Instagram look. Check out some of my posts here for some apps that'll make your social media pop without an additional cost.
I can go on for days about what you can do in order to save some coin while on your influencing journey. I hope you learned something and are able to take away some tips to saving some coin. What is some advice you have for up and coming influencers? Leave those tips in the comments below!
