It's the worst time of the week again.....brush wash day. Brush washing can be such a tedious task....but if you're me its even worse because I have 1,000 brushes. There never seems to be enough of soap in the house to wash your brushes and wash dishes for the week. If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on that Sigma brush cleaner, check out this cost effective dupe that'll leave your brushes squeaky clean.

Dawn Platinum Soap isn't just saving the ducks. Its saving your makeup brushes too. Because it is strong enough to wash the thick oils off of ducks while keeping them safe. It is the best option to wash your brushes with. It will leave your brushes squeaky clean and super soft once they dry. Here is a quick tutorial on how I wash my brushes:

1. Wet the brush.

You want to run a small amount of warm water through the brush. This will help get some of the excess powder off of the brush before you apply soap.

2. Apply your soap.

Apply a pea sized amount of Dawn Platinum Soap onto the brush. Take a moment to message it into the bristles of the brush.

3. Scrub.

Using the palm of your hand, swirl the brush around until it creates a foam.

4. Rinse

Rinse the soapy brush with warm water. If still dirty/stained repeat this process.

This brush hack will help you save your coin and keep your brushes super clean. What do you use to wash your brushes? Comment below.
