There are a lot of brands flowing in and out of the drug store. There are so many that it can be hard to miss everything at the drug store. However, there are a handful of brands out there that aren't getting the shine they deserve and I'm here to show them some love. Baddies, we have to give our coin to the brands that work for us. This month's #SleptOnSpotlight goes to a brand that has been putting on for women of color for a long time. This brand is Black Radiance.

Black Radiance is a makeup brand that caters to Black women. They have a plethora of products ranging from eyeshadow bases to face powders. The best part about Black Radiance is that all of their makeup is under $10.

Favorite Product: True Complexion Contour Palette

My favorite product from Black Radiance is their True Complexion Contour Palette. It was one of the first affordable contour kits made fo Black women that actually shows up on our skin. It is a trio that comes in three shades: Light to Medium, Medium to Deep, Deep to Dark. Each trio has a sculpting color that warms up the face, a highlighting color which is a shimmering powder to add dimension and brightness and a contour color which deepens and chisels out face.

This product is great for makeup artists who work primarily with women of color or for the regular makeup enthusiast who loves to play with different shades and dimensions.
